Render Passes
So for rendering I use a basic 3 point light from Zbush to do my render passes. 1 key light with shadows that cast from the side and top angle a soft light no shadows from below and a soft light no shadows from behind. For starters I did a BPR render with the MatCap Gray material that will give me a base start Shadow pass Ambient Occlusion mask and Depth. Then use the crome b material to render spec and the Pearl material for cavity detail. I also download from the zbrush material library the silver material which I use for shiny metal overlay and the SC_Pewter that gave me high light edges extra detail dirt. I Comp them in photoshop for my final image scroll on the right

Mur'goh Bloodeye - real time character(sort of)
I've started this WOW inspired character a few months ago after I've made a quick sculpt of an orc head. The high poly was made in Zbrush and Marvelous Designer with a little help from 3ds max too. The low poly was made in Topogun, UVs in Rizom VS, textures in Substance Painter and Photoshop and finally baked and rendered in Marmoset Toolbag 3. Meats Meier Sketchbook
Hi - I'm Meats Meier, I used to post here a lot back in the day. I've used Zbrush pretty much every day since version 2, it's one of the favorite things in my life. I'm a senior 3d artist at FoxVfxLab in Los Angeles, we do real time pre production, previs and virtual cameras using Unreal, Maya and ZBRUSH. It's been a long time since I've posted, so here are a few things I've been working on outside of work. I had a cool project recently that I wanted to share - I worked with Happy Mushroom to create a 9 foot Lebron James statue. It was sculpted in Zbrush (of course) and then computer carved out of foam. Hair Work
3+ hours of replacing the previous sculpted hair with curve brushes and tweaking them... and still not happy and with lots of adjustments to make, BUT is going forwards Cheers!
